Dear Colleagues & Friends,

On behalf of the Asian EUS Korea, it is our great pleasure to welcome all of you to EUS Summit 2022 which will be held in Grand Walkerhill Seoul, Korea from October 8 to 9, 2022.

While many of us have endured personal and professional challenges over the course of COVID-19 pandemic and are delighted as the world is slowly taking the road to recovery, it remains our top priority and responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all our participants. Due to this ongoing global pandemic, this year the meeting will be held in a hybrid conference allowing both online and limited in-person participation.

Now EUS field is rapidly expanding to therapeutic EUS. These days, many EUS-guided interventional procedures are performed actively including EUS-guided pancreatobiliary drainage, EUS-guided gastrojejunostomy, and EUS-guided ablation therapy. In addition, Contrast-enhanced EUS (CE-EUS) is increasingly used to differentiate many lesions in the hepato-pancreato-biliary system. The organizing committee prepared sessions covering all these recent progress.

The program of EUS Summit 2022 is composed of didactic lectures, abstract presentations, and live demonstrations. Live demonstrations from world-renowned centers will be the highlight of this program. We are confident that this will be a festival for the leaders of EUS globally and a good learning place for the trainee of EUS.
